The Wiveliscombe 10 Parishes Festival celebrates the rich variety and high quality of arts and crafts found throughout the 10 Parishes area.
We were pleased to be invited along and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day! With the best of the West providing food and drink (including whole leaf tea!) it was difficult to know what to do at lunchtime.
Delicious home-made breads wafted through the streets and high spirits were guaranteed with the attendance of the Trickey Cider Co.
We met some interesting people throughout the day with Cedric receiving the majority of the attention.
We were given some whole leaf olive tea which tasted great and a possible contender for our next new tea! With Emily (our part-time mug) recently returning from Sri Lanka we have a wide variety of teas to work our way through including an exciting Pineapple tea.
We would love to be back in Wiveliscombe next year – the carnival towards the end of the day way highly entertaining and proved that the love for street festivals is very much alive in Wiveliscombe.
