Jane and Ant’s Wedding provided the first ‘official’ event for Cedric and what a rip roaring success it turned out to be. Showing there was more strings to our bow than tea and cake we turned our hand to Mixology, giving out Gin & Tonic to over 100 thirsty guests as they arrived at the reception, in Horton near Chard.
With healthy glug of Gordon’s Gin, a splash of tonic poured over ice and a garnish of lemon and lime we had no problems finding takers for the zesty and bubbly refreshers, topped with a rare occurrence of UK sunshine it was the perfect afternoon.
Cedric was fully in his element, basking in the attention, with guys wanting to know the top speed (a gutsy 48mph), 0-60 (not there yet) and ladies swooning at his quirky Gallic charm he attracted quite the crowd. He was not to be the show stealer though, that had to go to Jane who looked stunning.
It was a cracking day, and as a special request Jane & Ant took over duties in Cedric, pouring and handing out G&T’s with aplomb and posing for the classic photo opportunity.
A mention must be had for the wedding itself, it was fantastic. Coconut Shy’s, hay bails, mini sweet shops, garden jenga, table tennis, BBQ and barn dance. It will long live in the memory of Couple of Mugs and we were so happy that we could be part of it.
Thanks go to Hannah who provided buckets of help and support on the day.
