The 6.30am alarm clock on a cold November Sunday was slightly painful, but there was a very good reason for it.. The Taunton Christmas Festival, the biggest free community event in town!
Large areas of the town were pedestrianised, having been granted security clearance with the sound of “Couple of Mugs coming through” being announced over megaphones and radios, we were amazed to see that Taunton town centre had miraculously transformed into a Winter-Wonder-Land.

We had spent many a night waiting for our biggest event so far this year, the largest illuminated carnival in Europe!
With a rumoured 100,000 people attending we were prepared for the masses. Unfortunately the afternoon was a complete washout with the torrential rain it was difficult to see us pleasing any one with a delicious brew!

One base we certainly hadn’t anticipated was the proposition of a ‘Jäger Truck’. So when Stuart and Kayleigh approached us asking if we could serve ‘Jäger Bombs’ to unsuspecting guests at their upcoming wedding we were delighted to oblige.
